As long as it takesIf your dog needs five minutes to settle before the clippers come out, that's part of the appointment, not an overrun.
You get told the truthIf a coat is matted past the point of brushing out, Paula will say so before she starts and tell you what it means for the cut.
What Paula does
Mostly small and toy breeds — terriers, schnauzers, cavoodles, spoodles, shih tzus. Bigger dogs are fine too; just mention the breed when you text.

Full groom
Bath, blow dry, full clip or scissor cut to the style you want, ears, nails and pads. The standard appointment.

Bath and tidy
Wash, dry, brush out, plus a trim around the face, feet and rear. Good for between full grooms.

Puppy's first groom
A short, gentle introduction so the whole thing isn't frightening the next time. More below.

De-shed treatment
For double coats dropping hair through the house. Bath, deep brush out and blow out of the undercoat.

Nails, ears and feet
A quick tidy-up visit on its own if that's all your dog needs.
First groom for a puppy
A puppy's first appointment sets how they feel about grooming for the rest of their life. Rushing it to get a neat finish is how you end up with a four-year-old dog that shakes in the car park.
Paula keeps first grooms short and deliberately unambitious. The goal is a puppy that has been handled, heard the dryer, felt the clippers and gone home calm — not a show cut. They can come back in a few weeks for the rest.
Pricing depends on size, coat and how much brushing out is involved, so there's no flat price list. Text a photo of your dog and you'll get an exact number back before you book.
